Bartender

SUMMARY:

The Genesee Theatre has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Bartender at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL. Due to the volume produced in such a short time frame, it is essential that anyone applying have great customer service skills and experience in high volume alcoholic beverage service to theatre patrons.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production of quality beverages at a high rate of speed
• Honesty / handling US currency
• Higher than normal customer service
• Problem solving
• Utilization of a Point of Sale (POS) System

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be able to multi-task in high stress situations
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required by event schedule
• Current Bassett Certification and 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check and criminal history evaluation
• Experience in a high volume environment
• Ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
